It says a lot for Rob's dedication to DW that even after his excruciating injury he came with me to look at the fields for the Christmas rally and make arrangements for parking etc.

Get well soon Rob.

Ahhhh well, thats me out of detecting for 6-8 weeks.

Pushing a van out of the mud at todays rally and I heared a loud popping type thwack. My arm went limp and I knew I'd messed up big time.

Took my top off in the car and there was nothing where my bicep should be and an extra bicep near my armpit. Somehow I dont think my body got the anatomy memo.

jeezus Rob really sorry to hear that , especially just so near to Christmas. Hope you're not self employed  Roll Eyes

Took my top off in the car and there was nothing where my bicep should be and an extra bicep near my armpit. Somehow I dont think my body got the anatomy memo.

Anyhow, after a rather exiting trip home which included peasouper fog, heavy rain and both my wipers giving up the ghost, I got my wife to take me to casualty as by now I was in agony.

6 hours later and its confirmed, total seperation by trauma of the bicep tendon where it meets the elbow. Scan, surgery and 6 - 8 weeks immobilisation of said arm.

Apart from that , it was a good day.
I was a Paramedic for 14 years before retiring with a bad back, delt with my fair share of pain and trauma your story just made me wince  Shocked get well soon  Rob Wink Wink
