I was a bit older when this was on , but sat through it every sunday with my younger brother (even started enjoying it if truth be told)

Wasnt until quite recently tthat I realised the theme tune was sung by a rather famous comedian.

This was definitely one of my favourites, loved the programme. Only trouble is I was petrified of Professor Yaffle the Carved wooden book end - Woodpecker
