came across an american web site , this bloke has done some experimentation,on where certain finds fall on the screen,as an e.g below is the pattern for gold rings, all but one seem to fall on the FE 12 line

I have some more of these.
This just iterates why items should be dug that have very low CO numbers. Some people automatically assume they are foil.......ignore at your peril....!!!

Yeah I often ignore very low figures on the left side as when I dig em they are silver paper...are you saying gold could live here?

 i say dig em,as a se user i do dig the iffy foil tones,and results vary,buttons,bits of bronze,small hammys and yes foil,also gold on the se is a small margain from foil,,,so i dig everything that dosent show on left bottom corner.
