Title: Any ideas what this could be? Post by: rainyday on January 14, 2018, 03:18:11 PM I’m sure it’s not a button, there is no evidence on the back to suggest it is.
It’s quit heavy. It has GR and a crown on it. Not sure if it’s copper or bronze Thanks D (https://preview.ibb.co/k65f1m/C53_EE988_CEE8_4469_B2_C0_1_C3732379044.jpg) (https://ibb.co/jSVr7R) (https://preview.ibb.co/hor9u6/43_FDC22_B_E10_B_484_B_93_CC_34_B9_F8_D656_B9.jpg) (https://ibb.co/cYDNE6) (https://preview.ibb.co/kQShE6/440_B4_D26_4_A99_455_B_AA62_E92_A3_BE7_DA56.jpg) (https://ibb.co/ny2FZ6) Title: Re: Any ideas what this could be? Title: Re: Any ideas what this could be? Post by: Val Beechey on January 14, 2018, 08:46:56 PM It would have probably been part of a set of officially approved weights, like you might have seen in shops before digi took over. Buying or selling.
Sad to say when my 1st hubby and I bought our first shop there was a ‘fan’ scale and weights and an old counter with a drawer for the money. Now that takes a few of you back ::) ;D Title: Re: Any ideas what this could be? Post by: Dryland on January 14, 2018, 11:04:43 PM It's a 20p piece ::)
