Title: Why i love tecting Post by: cardiff bats (Paul) on September 21, 2009, 10:01:27 AM After witnessing the two axes at the rally yesterday and seeing somthing come out of the ground that has not been seen or touched for possibly three thousand years really gets the blood pumping. Thats why i love this hobby ;D You just cant beat it, not a lot comes close for me.

Title: Re: Why i love tecting Post by: cronge (richard) on September 21, 2009, 05:23:44 PM is,nt that strange,today i found six coins 4 viccies,1 georgian,and 1957 sixpence under a tree miles from anywhere,,and i sat beneath that tree had a cup of coffee and a fag,and i was thinking how these coins came to be there,covering a large timespan,as the tree is miles from anywhere,there are no houses for miles around and probably even less when they were lost,what were these people doing there,where were they going,how were they dressed,and what could they have bought with the coins?.

Trees are always good places to search around as people do tend to rest , play around them. |
