Found this last hole dug on Sunday,on my way back to farm yard,I think everybody had gone home, thought I'd
just check next to big pile of muck as I was leaving stubble field ,though it was more rubbish.Cleaned it  yesterday and I think it's a Medieval folding pan scales. Can anybody confirm?

I found this at first I thought it was a Britains figure, but on cleaning it up I saw traces of guilding , so possibly the top of a tie pin
