Thanks to organisers for a good 1st day out/rally.
Good to see some old friends. Found 4 coins three George II halfpennies,
and a cartwheel and also a nice little token. Its a start for the new year.

Loved the report Neil.Entertaining and informative as usual.
Nothing found worth posting up,but I had a great day.
Enjoyed some superb Rioja,courtesy of Da Monkey-very much appreciated; and then spent the afternoon wandering around in a fuzzy haze,but very happy!

Some more finds from the Mansion House Rally - The half crown below was found by cream egg as was the interesting enamelled whotsit. It looks like some kind of Christian artifact the wording on the back looks foreign - possibly Portugese or Spanish?

The hall marked silver cufflinks were found by the Big Ox as were the weird lead castings - all the same shape and all found within a ten foot radius anyone have any ideas about these?
