Hello,

I think this may be my first silver coin found on the farm, I think it maybe a William IIII sixpence, can you confirm for me please?

I Also found what I think is a brass key hook and a hat shaped thing that is very heavy and I think the metal is non frrous as there is no rust it is 50mm across.

Any idea of the age of the key holder thing please?

Your spot on with your id on the Billy 4 Wink
The top hat affair looks to be lead and more than likely is a trough plug of some sort.
The hook has touches of "Art Deco" about it so I would say it dates to between the 1920's and 1950.
Your oldest find is your 18th century shoe buckle.
All in all a good days detecting on what looks to be a good varied field.

It's not a bomb Cheesy. You can either hand it in to the police station or simply pull the bullet out of the shell and empty the cordite or powder out. Just don't put it in the fire lol

I have already removed the powder from the bullet as the bullet head was loose, I have found quite a few of those '303 bullets all in the same area of the field. Thanks for the info everyone.

I can'r see a date on the bullet casing - I do know that there used to be a firing range near the location for the near by Barracks and according to locals this was used between the 2 wars.
