out today to monmouthshire with gavin and newbie rob1974.it was rob.s first days detecting today and fair-play he done well having around 6-8 coins and a lovely buckle and he had his first thimble..welldone rob..gavin also had his fair share of find with 3 spindal werls.thimble
jews harp.medievel pot-leg and half a crotel bell and the normal greens.
my first nice find of the day was a vicky four pence never found one before so that put a smile on my face.had a lovely small buckle.and the normal green and just before we wrapped up i had a lovely lead fox-head.and then knocked the farm house door and gave him 98% of what id found.

Just like to thank Ray and Gavin for taking me out today under their wings, couldn't sleep all night it was like Xmas eve and fair play we had a cracking day and now i am aching all over, thanks boys...
