Come on need your help on this one. I've never seen one like it. Its the size of a Celtic 1/4...10 mm approx.

Thanks Geoff, my first thought was Saxon but I talked myself into possible Celtic..should have known better I suppose, interestly found 10 or so  meters from a Saxon pyramid mount some time ago?  Wink

Hi Mark, I saw your picture well done. I hate stubble and avoid it at all costs especially when it's high, unless it's really weathered down over winter....then I love it lol Wink

Got to agree,stubble is a very laborious element with which to detect on.however,once I purchased a 5" coin-shooter coil, detecting on stubble fields is no longer a problem.👍

That's it mate you never know..... I never expected a BA axe to come of a field iv been going to since a kid with dad, and that's a huge find, what small stuff is still there to be found Huh..... As we said before a field is never done Wink
