Hi Stampy, any chance of clearer pictures for us? My first impressions are that it looks Saxon like but that's just me. A clearer picture for the experts will help!!

I have so much trouble getting photo's on here guys. I only have my mobile to use, if I try to upload a normal photo It comes up saying my file is too large, it only appears to allow me to upload on here when I zoom in and save the photo? Any helpful tips would be appreciated, other than by a camera!!!!!  Grin

Saxon Huh Why? lol
Well my first thoughts without a better pic, given the size to thickness ratio would be a coin weight.

It looked like a crude depiction of a little man on the 'coin' if it is indeed that, the only reason why I said that LOL.

Well it can be anywhere back to about the 13th century right up to the 19th. the X probably stands for 10 so thats somewhere to start. This little man lol, is he standing, sitting eating a big mac?Huh

Oh and I hate to tell you this, but that's only half a buckle lol

Hey Geoff, the little man is standing leaning to the right, his head is at like 1-2 o clock! Can you make him out now, but you are probably right, here is a similar example with a cross above his head, and it being a coin weight!
