Some of the best condition bronzes I have had have come off the beaches.  They tend to fall into two camps - either covered in hard calcified green (which is the majority of them)  which never comes off tidy, or in superb condition like Rob's.

Hi Rob
superb example ! great patina  a great keeper for the collection, is there a little H in the corner  to the left where the date is or a little KN ?- the H stands for the mint birmingham, and KN is kings norton metal company-  these coins are its worth a wee bit more they were only produced on certain dates 1912.1918,1919

there are  a whole range of dates in the 1800's and 1900's also with H on them. some of the viccy coins with H are quite valauble -- search your coin collection!
