Over the last few weeks had mixed results on pasture with a nice hammered for a change and this odd one. Any ideas please. More to follow

i can read ANNA on the 2nd coin, which suggests queen anne's reign. the first coin i can read M Therese, sop presumably is a mother theresa commemorative medallion/coin of sorts

nice finds though, well done

Nice finds though neither of these are hammered?
The first is a Austrian silver Thaler of Empress Maria Theresa (mother theresa?...give me strength lol) though with the date 1780 it's guaranteed to be later as the Austrians restruck coins at later times and all those bearing  her portrait are dated 1780 Wink
It's also viewed by many coin collectors as the most beautiful coins ever minted.

Austrian!!  Shocked wondering how that got there? I know the area was well used as a storing area from the port but did not expect that.
Bugger on the hammie.
Thanks

Well if you weren't expecting Austrian how does Greek grab you? Grin That's what your top coin is, a 10 lepta coin and will be dated 1831.
Then a cartwheel penny, need to see the obverse on the next but the bottom one is a Hibernia (Irish) coin Wink

Thanks for the identification guys, how you do it baffles me.
What would be the best method to clean them without degrading them?

All cleaning is destructive to some extent and I really wouldn't do anything to the Thaler as the oxidised background make the detail stand out, if you clean it you'll find that it will appear far more worn with the lettering blending into the background Wink
