Title: Hi From Wychbold
Post by: HoratusJohn on April 17, 2011, 04:40:25 PM
Wheres that they say! well its a village in Worcestershire where allegedly there was once a Saxon manor, but no one knows where.
I am new to MD and have a Whites M6 which I am learning to use. Thanks to Johnas & Padfoot I went on my first ever dig with you at Leinthal Starkes and met a few of you. The day for me was a learning experience, didn't find anything but the weather was great and those of you that I met were really friendly and thank you for organising the day.
I look forward to meeting up again (when I am given permission), all tips and help will be greatly received, looking forward to learning from the experts.   JohnWychbold

Probably see you on the return next Monday?

Good detecting area. You're lucky it's on your doorstep!  :)

Welcome John. I know Wychbold well with many visits to Webbs. I thought the A38 main road through the village was the main Roman Road from Droitwich to Bromsgrove. An area full of history so good luck and see you at a rally soon.
