Title: Knife for ID Post by: Jonola (Jon) on October 31, 2010, 07:13:33 PM I was given this knife and was told it was brought back from world war 2. I was also told it was issued to The Black Watch....HAH !!!! That was the only two pieces of info given. It is about as British/Scottish as the pyramids I think...though I may be wrong. It is nine inches long. Anyone any thoughts as to its origin? Any educated guesses welcome.

To me it looks like it could come from India, but I could be wrong, usually am lol ;D

KANE Title: Re: Knife for ID Post by: Jonola (Jon) on November 01, 2010, 07:34:42 PM Cheers guys. The handle appears to be brass and bone/ivory. Appears made up, almost trench art as some of the fittings appear to be very similar to shell casing material. I think it is ivory as it appears to have a grain.
