Hi All,
My names Rob & I'm thinking about gettting into this, I did have a dectector as a kid which went "bleep & squark" if you found something interesting but googling dectectors now they seem to have advanced a lot
Some even come with drinks holders Huh

I live Bridgend way so can anyone recommend any good spots?

Right I'm off to buy a metal detector

Welcome Robbie. Hope you enjoy the site and have a good look around it. There are some sections on here that give advice on detectors but if you get overloaded with information just ask mate. Plenty of experianced members will be more than happy to offer advice.
