Title: Calling all Cardiff Scan club Members Post by: Salty (Karl) Cardiff Scan Club on October 23, 2009, 05:11:01 PM Just a brief message to say,please don't forget our club website ;) Its a bit lonely there sometimes. ::)
I know most people use D.W now, as do i, but its worth sharing your posts on the club site too. New members will often hit a club site to see if its worth joining, if there's little happening on the site i would have thought this will put them off joining as it doesen't represent the true vibrance of the club. I dare say this applies to other clubs also? D.W. is a fine resource and long may we all continue to support it, but lets not forsake our roots. You don't have to be club members to join the club web site. ;) We'd love to see you at a Scan Club meeting, Any R.A.R.E members will see some familiar faces as a few of us are R.A.R.E. Members also, Myself only becoming a Rhondda member last month. Any Newbies out there Toying with the idea of joining a club (ANY CLUB),all i can say is it will be the next best investment after your detector, You'll learn far more from talking to club members than from any books, in a relaxed atmosphere amongst new friends. I speak from experience as i only started Detecting in February this year :) Cheers Salty |
