s12aun:
Hi Guys.

found this little stunner while out for an hour yesterday. It was around 12 inches down and under a load of small stones and soil so took a while to find. Can anyone tell me where it was minted and the monarch.

Thanks.

Neil:
Thats a cracker, certainly an Edward and The Doc pr Probono or one of the other coin experts will be along shortly to tell you which Edward, mint, where it was last spent, day it was lost, etc

Cheers
Neil

Dungbeetle:
Looks like an Edward 1st Canterbury mint to me, but I've been known to be wrong 😉😉. Nice hammered all the same.  Keep them coming.

probono:
Well it's certainly Canterbury - the fleurs look almost trifoliate, but could be bifoliate (three or two prongs) -  so I'd say around class 10 (so most likely to be Edward I) .

Well done  lovely example
