Title: Any chance of an I.D please?
Post by: BottyBurp (Kris) on July 30, 2009, 08:12:08 PM
I found this Hammered today & for some reason I don't think it's an Edward, nor do I think it's from the City of London mint!

Any help would be appreciated thank you.

I also found this, it did have a small threaded pin inside which broke off so I reckon it could be a furniture fitting of some sort..

Nice coin BB. As has been said, it's an Edward I penny, Canterbury mint, Class 9.
