Title: King Edward vii Alexandra Coronation medal Found by RARE Member
Post by: PHIL YNYSBOETH on September 19, 2009, 09:31:02 AM
Another one of Ray Coburns interesting finds found locally

Its an Edward and Alexandra Coronation Medal
Reverse Inscription reads  Accession 1901, Crowned 1902
Obverse double bust crownless looking left

What sort of metal would have been used in this medal ? its like a cast pewter alloy very brittle
If anyones got one similar or can find one on the net id love to see a better Reverse picture
It looks like Britannia on her knee,s before someone ?
