I have found that GP Digi1 batteries last very well in my camera. They last 3 times
longer in mine than any others I,ve used. They cost £3.50 at the little electrical shop
upstairs in Cardiff market. I use a Panasonic Lumix, and this ate up all previous
batteries. Try them out, I think you,ll have a surprise at how long they last. Price is
for 4 batteries, so quite cheap really. Cheers, Digger

For my camera / GPS etc. I use eneloop re-chargeable batteries, 2000 mHa. They are not the most powerful re-chargeables around and are not the cheapest but they are really good. After a full charge they still retain 70-85% after 12 months lying around.

NB I don't work for the company :) :)

energizer Ultimate lithium, these cost a bit, but they last for flippin ages,
i use them in a Canon Power shot, thats a battery muncher, but these just go on and on.
I'm lucky, i don't have to pick up the tab, my company pays but they are worth it. i was going through Duracell's at a heck of a rate.
