welcome John its indeed a very friendly forum with members from alover wales.

Crumlin ! isnt that where there used to be a massive steel viaduct that spanned the
valley from end to end, it also featured in a well known movie, some of the older ones on here might remember it  Grin

I think so, the film you referring to isnt that the one where the plane flies under it? remember reading about it before but cant remember who or where, Cary Grant?

There was a plane that flew under it !

Its a pity it isnt still erected. it was a feat of engineering !

and wasnt there a coal pit on one side of it, i think the red brick buildings are still there ??
