hi guys and gals,
looking for as much info as possible on this nice caesar roman coin a mate of mine has in his collection.

it measures 33mm and weighs 24.84 grams

Well I think that price tag is a little tongue in cheek (thus the "make an offer" button), although all the versions I can find are up around the $1000 mark. As to what effect the corrosion would play on the price and also the exact edition/dye, Probono is your man. Hopefully he will be able to give you a more expert view Wink

It's a roman provincial coin as it is in Greek.

Having read the other posts, just a comment on Victoriam - I don't think I've ever bought from him as all his coins are wildly priced, interesting, but you buy from Spinks much cheaper and I think they push the market somewhat too.

It's hard to say how much your coin is worth. Roman Provincial Coins are priced highly by some people, like CNG, yet they were always collected in the past by those on a lower budget.
