Title: arabic lion coin
Post by: euroace on September 30, 2012, 09:33:08 PM
hey ,just today i found my first hammy ;D ;D ;D or thats what i think it is. its very thin and i can tell its not milled. on one side it has two lions on either side of a shield with the english flag on it. and i think a knights helmets on top but im not sure and then on the other side it has  arabic writing,it maybe a east india coin or "cash"as its called and since the east india company was founded in 1601 and the coin i found is hammered it could be ???  but i doubt that as i found it in a field in worcestshire miles away from any ports any  sorry for the poor pictures they were taken my phone
