yes i just got one the gm 3+. I was saving for the T2 ltd but me mrs said i would get castrated if i spent anymore cash ,anyway  tried it out today and it took me a while to get used to it as my main detector is a T2 which has a screen, but i wasnt out long as the rain hissed down but i did get a broken roman fibula brooch,  and yes it was a good 7 inches deep so i was pleased, Odd though you set the threshold for depth not the sensitivity . I like them.

well just taken the plunge and bought a golden mask 3+ have used it for 3 hours in 2 sessions in auto mode and netted 17 coins mostly georgian  3 buckles plus various buttons and bits and pieces. have found it to be a very interesting detector with lots of potential and it's also good to know that it  works very well on the beach wet or dry according to a mate of mine who uses one and detects around colwyn bay area.the next few outings weather permitting will be finding out how it performs in the manual mode compared to the auto mode which i thought was excellent.

If you have the one with the boost button and you want to annoy minelab users, just get to within twenty foot aim your coil at them and hit the boost button, it used to drive my e-trac Mental (didn't it RJM Wink ) Smiley

If you notice nobody crowds on a rally, rest assured it's not a personal hygiene issue  Grin Wink
