Hi Paul, that's a weird one.  Had a quick look around but as you know there seem to be hundreds of the darn things. For One shilling and Six Pence I'd have said not that old. We can remember when that bought a fair bit  ;) ::)

The most common one for that denomination was a silver George 111   Nice unusual find. Sorry can't help.

It's certainly a strange one Paul as it seems to say "Our" shilling and sixpence and being that small and of copper alloy I really can't think what it was or could be used as other than some type of promissory coin ???

It appears to be a long curly headed geezer facing right looks like William or George III Portraits Doc thanks PaulB.

the long curly hair and the nose fit Charles II but sadly the letters don't :-\
