Title: my second hammy Post by: dances with badgers on March 12, 2011, 04:10:20 PM alright peeps. i dragged my but out of bed today for some tecting on my cousins farm even though i got the man flue and i got my second hammy and a viccy sixpence 1859.glad i did but i feel rough as fooooook so goin to have half a bottle of port and 2 lemsip then crash out .the hammy is bent in two so i will try to straighten it tomorrow. :)
good luck in frampton peeps.look forward to seein your finds Title: Re: my second hammy Post by: Chef Geoff on March 12, 2011, 04:22:12 PM Well done Mike it looks in good nick too. Whatever you do don't try and straighten it cold as it will break, you need to heat it, then cool it, then bend it a tiny bit, then heat and cool etc etc. long old process but rewarding. No shortcuts or you'll end up with two halves. Good luck ;)

Pity about the bend as it looks in great condition (though that may be why), It's a Henry (or Richard, John) but as to which one that's more the Doc;s territory.
Any chance of two more pics but without the camera shake ;D. Title: Re: my second hammy Post by: dances with badgers on March 13, 2011, 07:24:37 PM edward 1st penny ? similar ?
