Smashing day out with the boys - Tyna and I had an assortment of buttons, pre-decimal coins, a small thimble and other bits and bobs. We'll give them a clean and post pics Cheesy

Well folks I found the brooch, two Viccy sixpences, One George sixpence, five various George 3 coppers, Liz 2 tenpence which feels all wrong ( are forgeries known ) Two Dog tags with name and phone numbers still legible, various lumps of lead and tractor parts and a bleeding great day out. Thanks a million Rob I really appreciate it. Pictures tomorrow evening.

Had a great day out as well - what a fantastic location and so peaceful.

I had a Victoria sixpence 1858, two old head Vicky pennies from the same hole, QE2 sixpence and florin and an unidentified halfpenny. Lots of buttons pretending to be hammies, couple of remains of spoons, two thimbles, two lead balls and the usual shotgun caps and bits of farming scrap, and a nice Nivea creme tin Smiley

glad you had a great day out up nr hereford nice finds to ,iv had the pleasure to go up there to after been invited by our Mr TAFF Wink nice place ,and think there is a lot more to be found to Wink
