Title: Re: QuickMask Post by: raistlain on December 08, 2015, 06:46:53 PM Is the lack of response because.... know body has a clue... or...its that obvious it doesn't merit an answer ??? ha ha
Title: Re: QuickMask Post by: Chef Geoff on December 08, 2015, 08:22:20 PM :D :D :D The quick mask isn't used that much in the UK as we don't tend to use block discrimination like they can in the USA or Australia, basically it's a second discrimination pattern which is less than your main one which you can switch between to try and get a better idea of what "iffy" signals are ;)

Title: Re: QuickMask Post by: Jonnietaz on December 09, 2015, 12:39:10 PM I use quick mask just as all metal mode, open screen, flick between screens, after doing a patch, I believe it gives slightly more depth, plus with a iffy signal, you can adjust your discrimination while over the object.
Title: Re: QuickMask Post by: raistlain on December 09, 2015, 09:36:12 PM that sounds a good idea thanks ;)
