Title: Roman coin for i.d. please + ? object
Post by: hedgehog on December 16, 2008, 07:38:38 PM
The AE3 is Fausta very kindly id'd on here , the denarius is Vitellius, but dunno what the other is.
Pic 2 is a victorian letter opener, saxon strapend, and think the other object is Roman but your thoughts would be appreciated. Many thanks in advance

The knife fragment is a fruit knife for peeling fruit such apples or pears or spreading jam or butter . I have one fom the 1930's and were included in any reputable service. Not very servicable I am afraid.

No idea on the small Roman sorry - probably not enough of it left to ID. Also not sure about the odd-shaped possibly Roman thingy - what's the other side like?
