Forgot all about this, found it about 8 years ago whilst digging out an enclosure by my house. any estimates on dates greatly recieved!!

I found the middle part of a pewter spoon some months ago and did a bit of reading up on them.
 I'm sure I remember something about makers marks being inroduced around the middle of the 17th cent. and they were in the bowl of the spoon.
Could that be a makers mark on yours and does anyone know if it can be I.D.d.
