several forum members have shown great  concern for our local ant population and their impending doom due to 4mm of rainfall forecast in the next few days .

it appears that ants in the GILSTON  area fueled by a lust for peas have mutated slightly to overcome this problem so should be just fine , thanks members

Thank goodness for that Mike.
I hardly slept a wink last night worrying.
I finally dropped off by convincing myself that all ants must have evolved as very strong swimmers or have a natural talent of being able to hold their breath during long periods of rain.

By the way,have you considered doing an "Ask Mike" thread,for all of those questions that people are afraid to ask?
You know the type of thing,Dear Mike.....How long is a piece of string?/How come whatever colour bubble bath you buy,the bubbles are always white?/Do fish ever get thirsty?
