Title: Last Weeks Finds Post by: celticspikey on October 24, 2015, 05:29:46 PM Here’s my best of last week’s searches guys, 1\4 Duro unit nibbled, bronze satater beaten up a bit, a silver Soldino? Bronze awl, a couple of roman 1 x Sestertius and a silver washed, a nice roman spoon handle minus the bowl, the brooch is defiantly an early example, Aucissa variant 1st century AD, although similar to an Alesia continental type of late 1st century BC?? In Hattatts, may be Geoff or someone could confirm. The small round piece of roman pottery appears to have been made in to a counter or gaming piece defiantly not natural wear and tear. Good hunting this weekend.
