Popped out again this evening, another coin weight came up but not much detail on it , finds are like buses, two in one day and haven't found one for a few years, strange old hobby sometimes.

The Red Kites have reached Weobley , there was a pair flying around above the field, the rooks decided to chase one (like they do with buzzards) but big mistake with the Kites, it was funny to watch the rooks being chased for a change the one took cover near a bale but the Kite harassed him until he high tailed it out of the area  Grin

Nice finds there Steve,is the top one a clog clasp, have seen a lot of Red Kites lately they seem to be moving much further east this year,i still can't understand why the buzzards don't fight back at the crows though, must be the amout of effort needed is'nt worth the result ? .

It is a clog clasp Simon quite surprised at the size of it , usually find the little 'uns.
I was wondering how long it will be before the Kites start to dominate the area, they are big birds and frightened of nothing, I would guess the gamekeepers around here will limit the numbers!!!!
