Well outlaw the top picture right hand side is definately a 20p coin ( just joking mate ).  Grin Grin Grin The other looks like a token with a bottle perhaps. Over to the Doc I think.

Yes the thimble is silver, though its had a hard life !

I would be intrigued to find out what the coin is with the bottle on it is, it maybe a
token.

I found it on a farm field near a castle site

The token looks like this one from Norwich - it's a long way from home if it is. Anything on the reverse to see if it's the same?

Yet again Doc I think you have zeroed in on the ID. It is a long way from home. Any clues in where it was found Outlaw.

Well done doc.

It looks spot on, from the link. On the reverse of my coin/token you can just make out
those scrolls. other than that its very worn.

As to an exact location i found it ..on...............next to 2 donkies near a castle site, not a million miles from where casa dos roams ha ha,

Thankyou for your response and knowledge  Grin

I just acquired a welsh hill farm to detect on & the finds are varied including a Bristol token, never amazes me as to what you can find.

its down to luck, really.

Majority of welsh hill farms are buckles, horse brasses and buttons with an occasional hammy.

and a mixture of coinage.

I do on occasions wish i lived in Bedford, or lincoln where romans roamed in abundance  Grin
