Some nice finds there.

The decorated buttons with the flower patterns are 18th century, and the plain ones with  the gilding are 19th century. The decorated shoe buckle is very nice and dates 1720-1790.

No idea about the chain sorry.

The chain looks like copper alloy (such as brass) to me.

a good test for silver is spit on some foil and rub it gently on the coin , jewellery , button whatever it is . If its silver you'll get a smell of rotten eggs from it. Always be careful when doing this and clean it with water after to stop the chemical reaction.

well found flipper keep on trying that field and the surrounding area shows a bit of history there maybe when you have cleared all the big stuff you may start to find the older stuff.

Nice finds Flipper, I would say the chain is a Watch chain, the larger central link being used for a medallion, medal etc.
