17 Roman Grots.

Had another visit to the Roman site I found the Iron Age brooch yesterday, ended up with a haul of 17 coins and the two brooches shown, although when dug the coins looked reasonable condition after a wash it was a different story , some coins improve some end up as grots as these did, however very pleased with the brooch with partial pin intact even if the tractor has decided to put its mark on it in the form of a bend

This time last year was similar search conditions, with not as many finds to be had, but I now have a 13" ultimate coil on the end of my sovereign, it has defiantly made a difference, thanks for comments.
