Title: Time Team's Metalalic finds

Iv'e just been trying to watch a bit of time team  whilst getting on with a few things,  they showed a roman penanular brooch that was found and said quite a few roman coins were found too,
 they rarely or never show these items being found though,   i wonder if our friends the metal detectorists actually find them and they don't want to give them the credit,  perhaps they'd rather let people think that they have found them through their skills,  hmmm .

if they were found by the metal detectorist I don't think they would say , lest it show us in a good light

I think their metallic finds are usually found by detectorists on their spoil-heaps. They do acknowledge the assistance of detectorists sometimes, see here:

Thanks Peter,  but they keep it off the T.V from the public so the viewers can't see though hey,    arrr just let them think that we found them hey  lol
