Hi all, I've only just started detecting having bought a second hand Minelab Sovereign XS just over a week ago. I've already got some great info from your forum so I thought I'd join. I hope to get to the rally next weekend and meet a few of you. Regards to you all, Pete.

hi pete welcome mate.
                    the machine that you have bought iv'e had great success with in the past,but they do get a little bit of getting used to but i'd perservere mate because they are very good.welcome to the club buddy they're a good bunch,

Thanks for the welcomes and thanks nonker10 for letting me know that the sovereign will need getting used to. I had my first day out on the beach and I see exactly what you mean but I think I am starting to understand the signals.

Hi Old Pete, welcome and congratulations on an excellence choice of machine great all rounder and being a Minelab  you have with out a doubt the top beach machine, if you like beaches you will find the Bling Wink
