Hi, newbie here needing somewhere to detect for first time

Hi,

I'm just getting into metal detecting after being very intresting in Britains Hidden treasures. Would like to tag along to see someone in action and then a field for me too detect myself. must be pretty local to wrexham area though.

I don't have metal detector yet but am looking at either a garrett ace 150 for £138 or an ex demo lander xd50 pro.....which is best

please message me if you can help

garrett is a good 1st machine easy to use and set up , but dont think every signal is a gold necklace or pot of coins , it just dont work that way , well 99.99% of the time Shocked
