Hi guy's an girls, was driving buy Chewton Mendip the other day in Somerset saw a couple of detectorist's in a field, never had time for a chat just wondered was it any of our guys on D/W ? if so any luck

Not unless you were in a time machine Paul lol, I used to live there in the mid 90's and did quite a few farms around and about. pretty productive area too

Hi Geoff, nah was defiantly last week done a field there my self about that time , I remember an archaeological dig on the top where they found a Roman cemetery , could never find a report on it though did not have much in the way of finds but there again why would I you never left me nowt

the farm next to East End church would be the place, the field next to the church is called the plague field and theres a whole village under it
I could never get permission, I even offered them money

I haven't got a dog Geoff, so if you buy one get a Poodle, I hate them preferably one with a pink ribbon and to think if I got permission I was going to ask you along
