Found these two copper alloy bits on Sunday, one which looks kind of like a bronze bead but got a definate Roman look about it and the other thing seems to have broken off something and I haven't a clue about it.
Please can anyone help me out with IDing them?
Cheers.

Alright Benny - long time no see mate.

The bronze rugby ball type thing I have definately seen before but I can't remember where - not entirely sure it was Roman. Things tend to come back to me later in the day now. Grin

The bead is interesting as well - one for the FLO if no one knows. It looks like its got an age to it.

I don't recognise either of these - worth showing to the FLO.

Thanks for the feedback,I'm thinking that the bead things a bronze age bead some similar on the PAS website.
Will take them to the next club meeting to see what the FLO thinks.
