 Hi Guys
Here's my most recent finds.  All from pasture on 2 different farms over the last few outings.    ID on the cut hammered, 1p milk token and ROSS cap? would be appreciated, thank you.   Ron has had a silver hammered and a similar amount of bits and pieces.
I'm really enjoying using my new T2 SE, the batteries seem to last forever,  it's easy to use and set up, it's light and I like the tones, the sensitivity and  the depth.  All-in-all I'm very pleased with it and looking forward to trying it out on some stubble and ploughed fields in the autumn.  I made some nice pasties for me and Ron to take detecting with us.  Yum, Yum.

Ummmm a Scottish voided short cross.......maybe William 1, but im no expert

Some lovely finds well done, I agree with nobby it's either William I (The Lion), Alexander I or II, the item woth Ross on it is the centre of a sadler makers plate but the Cwmbach cooperative society token would need a bit more research to find the age. ;)

Thanks Nobby and Geoff, you are smack-on with the cut half ID, it is a William (The Lion) 1165-1214, and excellent info on the 1d Cwmbach token Geoff, I enjoyed reading it.  I'm learning more history now than I ever did at school.
Thanks to all you guys for the replies, me and Ron try to get out every weekend to one of our many farms.  Some have history and others we just try our luck and usually find something or other.
Most farmers have cut some silage now so there's more opportunity to have a go, whether the fields be cut or grazed, get your boots on and get out there amongst it !!!.
Don't know about building our strength up by eating my homemade pasties, I think we need some of those tablets to fortify the over forties and good leg muscles to get the spade through the crusty ground .

There's another piece to the weekends dig that had me and Ron doubled up with laughter.  I set my T2 on All-Metal to give it a try as suggested by Micky Finn.  As it is then in 1 tone, every time I passed over iron or any metal for that matter, my machine sounded off.  About half hour later I realized that every time my machine sounded, I was mouthing and muttering WAH! WAH! to myself!.  What a mad thing to do I thought.   Problem was, I couldn't stop myself from doing it!.  I told Ron and we had a great laugh, because he was watching me out of the corner of his eye and I was still doing it.  In the end, the only way to stop the WAH WAH song was to change programmes on my machine and have some different tones. (the 2+ tones are better).

 Really good collection of finds Tom, well done, I think the pasties are fairly modern, but they've cleaned up well  ;D ;)

Glad your getting on well with the T2 i`m sure you won`t look back. A realy easy machine  that does the job good luck in the future
