Nice finds Paul, Im not the best at this type of coin but my guess is Henry III short cross Walter of London class 6b-6c.............Now lets wait for the DOC !! Wink

Nice find.

I think that's got to be close Dale. The moneyer definitely ends in R, and the end of the moneyer's name is in the right position for that length of name. It could have been Ilger or Rener, but the R would have been in a different position.

Walter struck London mint coins from 5c to 6c and I'm not sure we can see enough of the bust to be sure it's not John class 5b or 6a.
