Title: Anthropomorphic mount

A great day out today with NWDD some beautiful finds coming out from so many eras including my anthropomorphic mount in the shape of a Celtic bronze head dating from early Iron Age to early roman.certainly one of my favourite finds to date and almost feel like it's watching me  ;)

WOW !!...what a little beauty...well detected and saved...gotta say it's got a Romanish look about it...wonder  if it was anything associated with Roman Altar goods ?..👍

It's a hard call at the moment as a Celtic toggle came from the same area. Certainly needs a good bit of research putting into it but to be the owner of such an amazing item is just incredible.
