How big is the mound?looks like an hillfort.Ive been using lidar on my permissionsand I've found what looks like a road and a perfect square structure near that road bearing in mind that my area is laden with roman activity.just bought a new machine, arriving tomorrow,a fisher f44

There's nothing recorded I can find,Not sure of actual size if you look at picture  the square to the right .That area has a detached house in the centre so quite a sizable patch.

Andre

I am sure you will like the fisher mate, I have had a few of their models over the years, always been good performers, keep us updated.

Hi Mark,I've been looking into buying a machine within my budget and I think I'll be alright for the time being with the F44. Ordered it from Joan Allen yesterday, arrives tomorrow.Joan Allen are quite good with deliveries. This Fisher takes other coils if needs be.I was meant to go on Thursday to my permission, but I'm working a rest day,we are busy at work so...can't wait to try it.cheers👍

Try blueskymapshop.com

All you need is a nearby post code. It gives you option to change between LIDAR and Google pics.

I looked up (again) the lidar for the farm I detect on - and there isn't any for most of it - not even the 2m data......must be at very low risk of flooding or something!
