Couple of today's finds...

Got out for a couple of hours this morning, the fields had turned back to swamps after the recent rain so it was hard going, but managed to winkle out a couple of decent finds, a pocket sundial, shame its seen the plough and what looks to be possibly a coin weight or token of some kind, any help with ID much appreciated, cheers.

Apparently it's a homemade Louis D'Or Pistole coin weight, 17th / 18th century

Good result under the circumstances herbie, best to try and head for the hills under these conditions mate , that said I'm going to try some flooded pasture next week

It was a very messy day also for me herbie, the water was sat there on the sub soil, every hole I dug was full of water, its pasture time really worth a blast tho!
