Also the Charles 1st milled sixpence for a change, S 2860 I spotted a error with your coin the obverse reads CHISTO not CHRISTO its missing the R look into it, its possibly rare? If you look at the coin I have shown it looks like a detecting find... When I first started collecting ~20 years ago now, I remember clearly the coin dealer I used to buy from selling a 'CHISTO' error coin to one of his more affluent regulars. I know it got a premium, but that was 20 years ago, when he said I would never own coins of many of the emperors I do own..... :) |
