Hello,

Can someone tell me if this is Richard 1 or Henry 11. It is a large flan and Moneyer is Raul of London. I struggle when it comes to the shortcross of these two kings. Thanks

Class 1c of Henry II and class 2 of Richard I can be very similar.

On balance, I believe this is Henry II, class 1c.

Thanks for all your lovely comments. The Doc leans towards it being Henry 11 (thanks for your expertise ) but I lean towards Richard 1 because of the stop before Rex. Very difficult to discern between the two.
