Seriously I would actually like to take you up on that Bob, A lot has been said on the merits of both these machines, A good no nonsense honest test may put some of the myths to bed.

I have just purchased the V2 Deus  2wks old as yet have not tried it out because i am too busy with work. It wasnt bought to replace my se pro, i saw the Deus in action on fresh plough and was very impressed with it compared to the se pro.

My bones are starting to get arthritic, back aches etc, the Deus is very light in comparison and folds away easily into a ruck sack. Accessories are wireless, howmany detectors are out there that function without the control box ?

Minelab have run out of machines to revamp  Grin so will probably bring out a new model in a couple of years Wink

At the end of play a detector is only as good as the detectorist using it  Grin
